The Wolf Den is an exciting program for second-grade children (typically 7-8 years old). Building on the experiences from the Lion and Tiger programs, the Wolf Den introduces new adventures and challenges that help young Scouts develop further skills and confidence.
The Wolf program is designed to provide second graders with a variety of fun and engaging activities that promote learning, teamwork, and outdoor exploration. Through a series of adventures, Wolf Scouts will gain confidence, learn new skills, and make lasting memories.

To earn the Wolf rank, our Wolf Scouts will complete six required adventures and 2 elective adventures. Here are the required adventures:
In addition to the required adventures, Wolves must also complete 2 Elective Adventures. Wolves are encouraged to complete as many Elective Adventures as they desire.

The Wolf Cub Scout uniform has the following parts:
Shirt: The official blue uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets. Pants: Shorts, long pants, skorts, and roll up pants all are in official blue. Belt: Official navy-blue web belt with metal buckle. Socks: Official socks are available in three lengths: ankle, crew, and knee. Wolf socks have a yellow band on the top. Hat: Official hat red front and Wolf emblem. Neckerchief: Red triangular neckerchief with Wolf logo. Official BSA neckerchiefs are the only neckerchiefs that are part of the uniform. Neckerchief slide: Official gold-tone metal slide with red Wolf emblem. Cub Scouts may wear handmade neckerchief slides.
